At their recent meeting, Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) members spent time cleaning up the Little Traverse Wheelway in Petoskey.

The YAC is made up of 26 young people and has been given the unique and important responsibility of overseeing the permanent Youth Fund of over $1 million at the Community Foundation.  These volunteers identify the needs of youth and families here in Emmet County and then recommend grant dollars from the Youth Fund to the local nonprofit organizations that can do the most good.
