ALPENA-HILLMAN TRAIL

 

THIS IS A SNOWMOBILE TRAIL IN WINTER.  Horses are permitted in summer.

 

ALPENA –HILLMAN TRAIL (also known as the Paxon Spur).  A 22 mile abandoned rail grade recently purchased by the DNR that we expect to be developed in the future.  Currently there is no timetable for development.  In Alpena the trail will connect to the expanding Alpena Bi-Path.
