Trail of the Week: NEST Aloha State Park to Cheboygan
The North Eastern State Trail can be remote at times, but it is work checking out! Between Aloha State Park and Cheboygan enjoy the peace and quiet of this great rail trail. With a crushed limestone surface, you’ll see views of lakes, rivers, and hopefully a few critters! The southern terminus of this section is Aloha State Park and the northern trailhead is where the North Central State Trail and the North Eastern State Trail Meet!
A great place to take a break at the public access beach where Orchard Beach Road terminates at Mullett Lake, a very short detour from where the trail crosses the road.
